If you're interested in one, I have an antique brass version. Hey Adam, maybe we should have a Buy-Sell-Trade section of the forum. Dan

That's a neat fan...I think I saw the same version of that particular fan at this Livestock store that used to be a church in my area. I wish they would bring back that style of fan.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but I claim to have seen a smaller version of the Moss WF series in a local retail store in my area circa 1986. It was also white. Also at that store was a Moss WF 52" series in brass like Adam's...I definetely do not see much of those Moss fans in the Pittsburgh area.

We're supposed to tell you if you're wrong-- how would we know what you saw in a store back in 86? "You're WRONG, John, you didnt see that fan in the store!!" Eh?

I just remembered that there was a hole-in-the wall restaurant in downtown Pittsburgh that had the bright brass Moss WF series just like Adam's, but they all had round lamp-shade type light kits. Unfortunately, the Moss WF series is a dying breed in the Pittsburgh area where I'm from.

I remember those fans! I've seen them at my old elemantry school on the stage and they did have three of them there and they got replaced later though. I used to go to Rockside Elemantry School.

Fans over the stage? That's cool. Most theatres dont have them because of the set, props, costumes, not to mention all the curtains and flys (sp?) and whatnot. But useful since the lights (and costumes) get so frickin hot . . . -Used to do lighting design for theatre and band shows
