This looks *almost* exactly like the AB ornate fan I have, except the one for sale has a different canopy (like the one on my Palm-Air and AB GE-vent 52") and is only 4 blades and the light looks like it was added on. Where as mine is 5 blades with an ornate Litex canopy and can be dual mounted.
Mine does have the exact same sideband.

I forgot to mention that one of my friends had said fan (4 blade) in his living room when he was in the 4th grade before he moved away.
I think that the one I have is the later model, since it was made in 1990.

Very nice and interesting fan. I like the sideband. The bottom plate is the same as the one on the today's Concord French Quarter. www.concordfans.com/customer/greent/images/items/52FQ5PE.jpgI think this bottom plate is called Ironwork. No the brackets are nice, those are my favorite kind of brackets. But on a ornate fan they should have put more ornate brackets. Is this fan from the mid to late 80s?

I dont know the make of these, Codep made one similar. I've seen them, they are too new for me to really want to find out about, but relatively nice.

Did Codep have the same ornate sideband as the one advertised?

It's basically an ornate builder.
