I really like those Codeps. You should (have) offer(ed) to buy it even if it wasnt for sale.
All of the blades are riveted. You can drill through the rivets and use the brackets. I wish you hadnt thrown them out.

I thought about it at the time Dan, giving them an offer to buy it, but I didn't really have the time to pick it up if they decided to take it down. I'm kinda regretting it now, but oh well, what's done is done. Maybe if they do decide to get rid of it it'll end up at the Manassas Restore....

Can you go back and offer?
You live near Manassas? I am in DC some weekends.

I'm in Quantico right now, which is about a half hour south of Manassas. The Codep was in Dunn Loring though, which is maybe a half hour or more from Manassas. I can't remember the address to it though, and vaguely remember how to get to it. Dan, if you're ever in the DC area I recommend checking out the Manassas or Gaithersburg, MD Restores. I've only been to the Manassas one once, and they didn't have the greatest selection. The Gaithersburg one has a decent selection though. It's also closer to my home town of Olney (it's about a half hour or so north of DC). I can maybe see if I can find the house again, but it'll probably be futile as the estate sale's long done now.

Unless I move there I wont have time to be checking any restores. Right now I fly out for an occasional weekend. I work right by the air force base, and stay right by the Six Flags.

That's Andrew's AFB right? I've been there once to go to an air show, it was good times. On a side note, I've been to that Six Flags three times, and all three times it was under different management, the first time it was called Wild World, then Adventure World, and now Six Flags. It's been years though since I've been there.

Love that Codep. Very, very cool fan, though I'd use a bent-arm light not a loop-arm, preferably with arms pointing more outward than downward.

I like the loop arm. It's over the top in a very vintage way.

thank you dan..
my great aunt is the one who took it for me & i think she did a good job, also it was taken after my great uncle fixed the wobbling problem..
it's rare to see those kind of codep fans with those kind of non arch end type curve end blades..
that fan is in perfect spot too(good match the wood beams)

I didnt mean the picture itself, I meant the fan in the picture, and the setting.
