I think that fan could be a old Hampton Bay Landmark.

I think that fan could be a old Hampton Bay Landmark. You think? I don't think it's a Hampton Bay at all, since there was no Home Depot in my area back in that 1986 time. I honestly believe it came from Stambaugh's, since all the fans I have that came from there have that gold label atop the motor. What I'm thinking is that it could well be a Palm-Air since the resemblance to the famous hugger that they produced (sold @ Stambaugh's as well) is uncanny, and plus it has the EXACT canopy as the aforementioned spinner. Only difference is that this one obviously has a downrod and can't be dual-mounted. I forgot to mention that this fan came with 4 stencil blades. I might decide to put cane on it, though.

I was thinking but I guess it's not a Landmark then. I'm thinking the fan could be a Palm-Air I have almost that same fan except mines have five blades and a bigger canopy.

Shafarah's suggestion was actually a good idea, it looks quite a bit like a landmark. It looks even more like that red motor you picked up.
Lots of fans use that canopy.
It also looks similar to fans sold at Sears.

Without further ado, here is a pic of said fan up and running. It originally came with a small 3-light kit, but I felt it looks better with the light kit that I added.

Very appropriate for a country dining room, big kitchen, or a restaurant.

Yup Dan is right on the location for that fan. I really like it. I prefer much more stencil blades than cane blades. Its it a 3-way light kit or just on/off?
If I had a fan with a light kit like that I would put a 60watt or 40watt bulb in the middle and 25watt flam type bulbs in the four tulips lights on the side.

Wow, those brackets are SKINNY! Those brackets are the regular, not skinny type. However, the PB footprint Litex I have, consists of the skinny brackets.

Skinny in the vertical direction, where it attaches to the blades. Thin could be a better adjective.
