Can you post a picture of the bottom, and the canopy?

The blades are definitely not Hunter. That's not an Original mount, nor is that an Original switch housing (in fact it looks like SMC, but I don't think they made any Original knockoffs).
Like Dan said, it would be interesting to see the bottom of the motor.

JW is thinking like me. He's probably not happy to hear that.
It's clearly oil bath. So it's either an Original that someone "frankenfanned", or more likely it's a weird Original knockoff that we've never seen before. I really like it.
The switch housing DOES look SMC, but SMC never made oil bath to my knowledge. The blades may or may not be original to the fan, and we may never know. They do look cheaper than the fan.

Troy, read the instructions posted two hours before you posted that and start posting coherently. Otherwise people are going to start thinking you're Kevin.

I think it is an Original but an ornate Original without the ornate motor but an ornate switch housing. The blades are probably from another fan but the blade brackets are clearly Original blade brackets since they fit with the fan and the motor is a cast iron motor that weighs a heavy ass probably 50 or more pounds. There is no model tag on the fan so I really can't tell for sure.

Hmmm.... very very interesting. The only thing I can think of is that Hunter could have sold originals to SMC and they customized them, sort of like that ornate blenderfan that Louis has.

SMCs were all made in Hong Kong. Originals were made in America. Send them to Hong Kong, then send them back here? I doubt it. More likely someone else customized it with parts from an SMC . . . or it isnt an Original. Is there any tag on it, or a mark where a tag would have been? How many speeds does it have?
