Yes, I've never seen one like it before, with the flywheel and remote and footprint vents and all.

It seems to have a rather cheap quality to it compared to your other fans on display. The blade angle is virtually flat.

I've actually seen that very fan Jeremy is referring to on my college campus' Monastery (I went to a Catholic University) That fan's blades were arch-ended like that of an SMC. That was the building on campus that had, by far, the most ceiling fans. In the next year or so, they plan to build a new monastery on campus and demolish the current one. Since my brother currently works on campus, and I know a lot of the maintenance personnel very well, having worked with them in the past (They even gave me some of the fans in my collection), I shouldn't have any trouble claiming the fans.

1991!? That the year that I was born. Are you sure? When I first saw it i toughed more of the late 90 early 2000s (1997-2001) especially because of the remote control. Did you said that you converted it with a Craftmade Remote and before it was pull chain controlled? How come it use a rubber flywheel on a direct drive motor?

To answer your question, This fan NEVER had a pull-chain. Also, I guess the flywheel was for the fact that it could accomodate 4 or 5 blades.

I have a remote control fan that dates back to the early 80s. The rubber flywheel on a spinner motor was an attempt to compete with showroom-grade, K55-type fans. "See, we have one too!" It does isolate some vibration.

Usually the Decorative is supposed to be 4 or 5 blades installation, but how come my can take only 5??? Somone help please! Yeah my Decorative also have a thin rubber ring at the bottom of the motor where you mount the blades. Its great! you have a LOT of nice fans in the background I see: AB Emerson 1895 Series 42'' ? Sky Blue Hugger 52'' AB Palm Aire Top Mounted blades White Fasco Charleston II 52'' (5 blades) PB Hunter 52'' (probably your Silent Breeze) And a weird AB Ornate with 5 oak blades, Light kit and Litex canopy that you never show us.
