I'm hooked. I'm working on a Fasco but have found in a flea market this fan: Moss Manufacturing Inc. A/C Ceiling Fan Model HF 200 Series 50 - 180 r.p.m. 856X Made in Hong Kong Serial No. 078576
Everything - I mean the whole works.
Did I waste my $1.00?

$1? No, that's not a waste. It's a deal. But then again, why are you asking us that? Only you can decide what a fan is worth to you. There are fans worth $200 to me that are only worth $10 to another collector, and vice versa.
HF200...that's an Heirloom, isn't it folks?
Phred, can you upload some pictures please?

There was a pinkish 42" hugger I recently got for $1 at the flea mkt. I have yet to hang it Also I paid $2 for an AB 44" Hunter Coastal Breeze (it was incomplete, hence I parted it out)
it has an integrated light kit and was sold at Stambaugh's back in the day. That hugger series was offered in white, pink, blue, grey, and peach. It was the same manufacturer as my famous blue 52" hugger.
