Here's one I found in Irving, TX, at a store that had like 8 or 9 of them. It has a spinner body like a CEC/Toastmaster, badges like an Evergo, an upper and lower canopy like a Crompton Greaves (maybe these replaced some CG's?), an enormous variable speed knob, arch-end blades with stencils like the blades on my "Model SMC" (note the extra line at the bottom near the bracket), and an odd-shaped switch housing. These appear to be 42", but I've seen a 52" fan similar to these in someone's house. The larger ones had three speeds and went extremely fast (somewhere around 180/220/270 RPM if I remember correctly). Here's the best picture:

This fan is a cross between toastmaster and CEC. I've seen those bell canopies before on an old toastmaster/CEC spinner. I've also seen that switch housing before, on another CEC, same goes for the badges. The only weird thing on that fan is the enormous variable speed knob.

I love it!!!!
The canopies look slightly different than CG, even though that was my first thought.

I agree, i like that fan also, the knob was probably taken from another fan or something. fans are almost like cars, you can customize them any way you want, and take parts from others that will fit.

So long as you don't do a ceiling fan equivalent of putting a fart cannon on a Honda...

Exactly ben, i cant stand seeing & hearing those things. i would make a fan equivalent to a 70s or 80s muscle car, and 80-something chevy caprice or a 96 impala ss. hmm i wonder what a fan in those forms would look like, i'd say an original would be the form of a muscle car because they're just classics ;D

I think, if all 9 fans had the knob, it is probably original.
