Check this one out... sorry the quality is so bad but I took it this afternoon through a window, and the closest fan (the one pictured) was running so I had to use the flash (not a good idea through glass). There were three of them in the store, along with a couple of SMC's. The closest thing I can think of is Golden Fan Electric... anyway the thing is HUGE (at least 56"). Someone who knows the logo will be able to tell the brand name right away... but take a look at the brackets! They appear to be some kind of laurel leaf pattern I've never seen before. Any guesses?

I've tried taking pictures through windows with the flash and got nothing but big glares. The Logo is New Fan. They made the first Moss Tropical Breezes. In the link below is a Tropical Breeze with the speed control that has the same logo. New Fan also made fans for Golden Fan Electric, motors were a tad bit different. Can't really tell on the pictures. I'm thinking more towards Golden Fan Electric because of the blade badges. I know they had a few neat different types of badges on there fans, that I've seen. Thats a cool fan, Would like to have that in my collection..... www.vintageceilingfans.com/mosstropicalbreezen-101c.html

To use the flash through a window you have to hold the camera so the lens housing is touching the window or as close to it as possible without the lens itself touching (to avoid scratches). If you can put a finger or some kind of blocker between the lens and the flash that helps as well.
I couldn't hold the camera directly to the window because the angle wasn't right to capture the fan itself - so I had to tilt it upwards and as a result some of the reflection from the flash leaked into the shot.

I've tried doing that. Maybe I was doing it wrong, plus it was at night, during the day is probably better...

Looks like a Golden Fan to me too. As Adam said, New Fan relabeled some Golden Fans. I'm also thinking it may be only 48"; even though it looks big, see how the blade tips line up with the ceiling tiles, which are usually 2' by 4' (so two would be 4' x 4').

If I saw one of those at my local Habitat or Faith Farm, I could say I had a great day....
