In a local dry cleaner, there used to hang two PB 42" ornate fans with 4 oak blades with pointed tips. These fans had carrot-shaped canopies (best way to describe them). I can't recall what the blade badges looked like, but the faceplate was very similar to that of the ornate plastic Emerson. The noses also had flat ends. OK, here's the story: I recently went to the convenience store next door to the cleaners to check if the fans were still there...but, unfortunately they had been removed ...when were they removed? I haven't the slightest clue. I remember seeing them as a kid and I knew they were at least 20 years old.

Ornate Plastic Emerson?
Were they K55 fans? Flywheel? Pullchains, variable speed? I take it the canopies are bell canopies, are they similar to that of a Nutone?

Mainly because of the canopy, I was wondering if it was similiar to the thread I recently posted.

Here is a clearer depiction of the canopies on those 2 long lost fans. they also looked similar to Casablanca's bell canopy.

What about the old Nutone Veranda canopy?

Come to think of it, their canopies did look more like that of the old NuTone Verandah...a lot.

Yeah...it could be. I'll need to look at more pics to determine.
