A country restaurant near here from the 80s has about 5 of these ceiling fans:
5 blade 52" fans White cane blades, GE vent motor with filigree sideband, The motors are thin and the bottom motor plate and blade brackets are polished brass.
I first saw these fans when we used to eat there about 10 years ago. Just recently I was there again and happy and amazed to see all the fans were still there, in fine shape, and running silently.
The fans hang on long downrods from a vaulted ceiling.
These fans were in my Sears catalog too and there was no brand on them but they were $44.99.
They must be good if they are still going after all these years!

I remember seeing those. I dont think they were ever labeled with a brand name . . . and I dont know when Litex started making Sears' imported fans.

They were in my 1991 and 1992 catalogs, so I will post scans of those pages.
Some of those Sears catalog fans looked the same as the Kmart Alaska fans.

Some imported Emerson fans were made by Alaska. Sears sold Emerson fans for many years. I dont think any of Sears' non-Emerson imported fans were Alaska, however.
