Today I went in Subway and looked at the fans. I have not been there for a while. I had always thought the fans were Hunter Summer Breezes. However, to my surprise, they are not. They are Hunters, but are odd looking. They were a silvery finish, with dark blades. I'm not sure how many blades as they were on. On the motor it has square vent holes in sets of two around the bottom of the motor. Also there were little scrolly things between each set of holes.
Around the sideband were very tall, thin holes not like a filagree sideband. Does anyone recognize them? That's the best I can describe. There are 2 of them in there and they have always been there, but that's the only ones I've seen like that! Does anyone know of this model?
I always heard subways had Hunter Summer Breezes or some brown spinner fans, but these are not either.
We have another Subway in town too, I wonder what fans it has. Also I have been in one Subway that had two kinds of brass GE vent fans!

Most Subways I've been to just have builderfans. The ones in Waco have Litex shoeprint vent fans. The ones in Dallas either have newer Hunters or Hampton Bay Landmarks. I saw one in Garland with Crests.

Two Subways where I live have Hampton Bay Landmarks and another location has Hunter Custom Homes. There is yet another location in a gas station that has two Emerson 1895's (I think). Interestingly enough, these are all in polished brass.
