4 of these are hanging at the Dairy Queen in Hubbard, TX. They have been there for years and I recently got a close-up view of them:
*White fans - the only thing not white is the brackets.
*Solid spinner motor; no vents. There is a capacitor cover. The switch housing is very standard and full size.
*Brackets are identical to those on most Moss spinners - moon shape with a bar in the center, and flat. They mount to the top of the motor.
*4 Blades - they have pointed tips (most resembling a 1st-gen Zephyr), and angle upward similar to a Fasco. For some reason the blades look disproportionately small to the motor. I think the fans are 48".
*The canopy is VERY unusual for a ceiling fan - the fan mounts to the ceiling hook style, but instead of a bell canopy, it is a nearly flat disc. I guess the closest thing to it is the canopy on the Broan on Dan's GeoCities site.
Someone identify this fan!!! If necessary I can put up a Police Sketch when I go back home this weekend. My original thought was Wing-Tat but it looks too conventional to be one of these.

CEC/Global/Commander/etc. Adam has one in his galleries, and there's a few similar versions in the Yahoo Group.

No, Adam does not have one of these in his gallery. The motor housing is solid, the switch housing is full size, and the blades angle upward.

He did have one, but I looked today and it's no longer there. It started out as an unknown. His was 36" with cane blades. In any case, that flat canopy identifies the brand regardless.

These are the ones I was referring to in the Gallery thread. There was a brown 36" version Adam had listed as Unknown but it has since been removed. Now he has the larger version in white.
Cool fans, like a cross between Adam's Supreme Fan Mark whatever, and a Nutone Slimline.

Hey what year did they make those spinners? Adam, any clues on your fan? My guess is mid 80s. But it's only a guess as they werent common around here. They could be earlier.

They were manufactured some where around the mid 1980s. I would say around 1984
