Need help figuring out why there is no forward spin when reversing switch is down. Motor hums but doesn't spin. Fan spins in reverse when switch is up. Don't know model # as all tags were missing when I got the fan. it is USA 3 speed with reverse switch. Hunter wires coming down from bearing shaft are 2 thicker white wires and thinner blue, brown, yellow, red, and grey. There are also non-Hunter black and white wires which are hot and neutral. The hot attached to terminal L on speed switch. The neutral attached to one of the thicker white wires. Second thick white wire enters upper right terminal of reverse switch. Lower left terminal of reverse switch has short white wire to nowhere. Red enters upper left terminal of reverse switch. Red exits lower right terminal of reverse switch and continues to terminal 1 on speed switch. Yellow = terminal 2 on speed switch. Grey = terminal 3 on speed switch. Blue = Middle left terminal on reverse switch. Brown = middle right terminal on reverse switch. If I switch blue and brown the fan will push air down with reversing switch up. If reversing switch in down position, no spin just hum. Do I have bad reverse switch? how do I test with continuity tester? Any other ideas?

Thank you, Jonathan.
I haven't seen this switch available anywhere. it slides into a groove on oil reservoir and held in place by bottom cover.
I only see the ones with screw holes.
