Are the Aubervilles any good and what motor? My local Ace has some older stock fans and one is among them.

I have one of the older ones that were sold from the early 2000s to 2010. It is an AMAZING fan. It has a 172 motor in it and really hauls. If thats the model that they have and its priced reasonably I would say to buy it. They are great little fans!

It’s in that era, it has the pre 2008(?) logo on the box. I’ll check again, I think it was $99 or $129 on the price. There is a Summer Breeze Plus with the older logo too for $129. The rest of the fans are some older Westinghouses and some current ones.

Ah, the older ones are way better than the new. Not bad prices either for what you get. I used to have a Summer Breeze Plus years ago. They are nice too.

I think it’s because the blade spans a hair longer you lose a few Rpm. They haul. I’ve had two from my buy and sell days. One was a 2011 one was a 2002 both has 153 sized motors but have seen them with 172 sized as well… I don’t know if they did home center exclusive ones that had the smaller motors or not. I will say this I’ve had a ton of bayports and beacon hills in my parents house and at my apartment IF you run them at high a ton they will develop a clicking bearing noise. I lived in my apartment three years and had four Bayports in my bedroom and I ran them on high every night. Never had this so quickly with other models.
