Was I lucky today. I was able to aquire this beautiful 1984 Casablanca Four Seasons 1444T Inteli-Touch. Here is what came with it: 1984 Casablanca brochure, 1988 Casablanca brochure, 1984 Casablanca installation and owners manual. I took a peek inside the motor housing and it was updated to W-32 technoligy in 1995. All I need is a W-32 wall control and I'm in business! The fan overall is in MINT shape with a lovely 4-light kit.

Well, I attemped to convert the fan to three speed today. After I had it all wired up and hung, it only ran at one speed. After digging around and learning more about what capicators can to to your pinky finger (.......ouch..) I soon realized that this was becoming a fiasco. the motor ran extremely hot. I soon remembered that I cant use an Inteli-Touch motor with three speed electronics. Ooops. So, anyone got a good 3-speed (or variable) Casablanca motor? Also, I'll be listing parts from the four seasons on eBay today. Including the light kit and inteli-Touch electronics.

Actually there is a way to convert an IT motor to three speed, but I dont know it offhand. You could probably sell it on eBay complete without the control and still get a reasonable amount for it. It sounds like a beautiful find, congradulations. What size is it?

I want the fan to work. I love how the blade holders look soo stubby and the tiny vents. I just need it to be three speed. Ryan Spika is going to take care of that.

I have been getting a number of Four Seasons lately, I'm selling and parting the IT and 3 speeders, and keeping the variable speed. I prefer the smaller size. A good source of Four Seasons is . . . the state of IL is remodeling all of those restaurants/rest stops that sit on top of the tollways, I forget what they call them Oasis something. All of those has Casablancas, most are Four Seasons. The only one I've seen without Four Seasons had Zephyrs. Someone should get in with them and grab all those fans if it's not too late, it'd be hundreds of Four Seasons. Unfortunately I'm not in too good with IL, lol . . .

There were dozens in each Oasis. Antique brass 48"ers I belive. Thats where I saw them for the first time. Most of the Oasises have been or are in the process of being remodeled. Also, a local Wendys there had two Chrome ones, they are still there as of this day, allthough not in the best shape (I was there a few weeks ago)

Your fan looks beautiful, where did you get le switchcap? Someone, possibly me, needs to find out about these fans in the Oasi.
