Looking for a metal piece to connect fan blades, as it is showing a crack in the metal housing? Anyone can think of a replacement?
Is this a normal behavior and should I just eliminate that piece completely? Thank you

Idk what fan it’s from, maybe you can find a new version of that piece from another fan the same as yours or maybe you can glue it together or tape it

Replacements may be extremely hard to find for this model. I would suggest adding a little bit of JB weld epoxy from the inside of the medallion to hold the pieces together. Keep in mind this might knock it out of balance so you might need to put weights on the opposite set of blades accordingly. However, this piece breaking like that will not affect any structural component of your fan.
