Attachment DeletedI wanted to attached a light fixture to the bottom of the fan. Now I have loose wires everywhere and I do not where to connect them. (Oh I could guess, but i love my fan and do not want to hurt her.) Here is what i have: Two black wires and one white wire down the rod from the ceiling junction box. A slider reverse side switch with two side by side wire inputs at top of switch, two at middle and two at bottom. A capacitor with two white wires and one black. A three-way pull chain switch with four wire in ports, labeled "L", "1", "2", "3". From the fan motor coil there (6) wires coming down into this connection box: one black, one gray, one blue, one yellow, one brown, one red. This is a Hunter Original ceiling fan Model 25606 / cat.no. 25606-001. I emailed Hunter tech support but was told they did not have a wiring diagram for this model. I am praying that there is a member that can help me. A wiring diagram for this fan would be greatly appreciated. (or if someone can tell me what wire connect where) Thank you in advance for your kind assistance

You might have to order a new reverse switch, since an expert said if you take wires out they would not go back in, or you can just bypass the reverse switch.
Pull chain has red on 1, yellow on 2, gray on 3, and black (no white stripe) on L. Reverse switch has like:
W Br R R B
Where W is white, Br is brown, R is red, and B is blue.
Connect black wire on capacitor to black wire to motor. Connect one white wire on capacitor to white wire. Another white wire is for light kit and black with white stripe is for light kit.
If you want to bypass the reverse switch instead of getting a new one, you can wire red to brown and white to blue. If wrong direction, interchange brown and blue. Many reverse switch don’t fit on Original switch housing but you can see if you can get a reverse switch from Hunter.

Hello Jonathan B. You are the best... Thank you for your quick, professional response.. I can not thank you enough.. I think I have learned my lesson and in the future I will remember to take photos and make a wiring diagram. I have several other Hunter original fans in my house. Two original Hunters a purchased over 35 years ago and they are still running great. Sincerely, DKDivine

Hello Jonathan B, The fan is wired up and spinning like a top. I wired it like you said. I had to by-pass the reverse switch. But it is an outdoor porch fan and we use it for cooling only, so one direction is all we use. Thanks again, DKDivine

Does anybody know the capacitor rating for this fan? I have a 25606 - the capacitor has gone bad but I cannot make out the rating info. Thanks...
