My lakeside II has a problem!!!
it doesn’t work on low, medium is like low, high is normal (155RPMS) but I would love to solve why my bedroom fan isn’t working on low
when lakeside II is off or on medium which looks like low, the blades look like they hang down but when I put it on high, the blades go up a bit! The fan still has a long spin down and the fan doesn’t take at all long to get up to speed but I would like to solve the mystery on why my lakeside II doesn’t work on low!

Did you make sure ALL screws are tight? Might be a good idea to remove the switch housing so you can reach the screws more easily. And as for low speed not working and medium being more like low, there's 2 possibilities:
1. Capacitor for low speed went out completely.
2. "3" on pull chain switch somehow went bad.
The way to tell which issue it is would be to just switch wires going from "2" and "3" of the pull chain switch. If it has one high and two low afterwards, then it's a capacitor issue. If it's still high, low, off, off, then it's a pull chain issue.

What does this contribute to the conversation? Nothing, just like the thread doesn't really contribute to the forum...

I believe he asked why his fan isn’t properly working on low and then Jonathan gave him a solution stating the capacitor may not be working which is what o would have replied.
