For me, usually I use Murphy Express if I'm on that side of town. But sometimes I'll also go to Shell or sometimes Mobil depending which is cheaper. Occasionally I use Race Trak if I'm in the next town over. I don't like to use the Rack Trak here because it's at a busy intersection and a pain to get out of. There's a Sunoco near my house but I usually only use it if I really need gas because it's a lot more expensive usually.
We are also starting to get Wawa here, they're building a station in each town in my county right now. It will be interesting as I've never been to a Wawa before.

We are also starting to get Wawa here, they're building a station in each town in my county right now. It will be interesting as I've never been to a Wawa before. I get lukoils gas usually or wawa. I feel Sunoco to be the best: Sunoco I always get one or two more miles per gallon. We’ve always had wawa in my area back in the early 2000s is when wawa started converting or replacing there stores into “super wawas”. Giving them gas. The gas is ok the problem is at least here In NJ wawa is so popular it’s a great place to get in an accident and it’s everyone excited coming and going. There gas supposedly isn’t the best I remember a few years back they had some problems with water in the gas and you can submit documentation if your car required repair. My friends sister is an engineer and she did a bunch of research on fuel quality and found wawas to be the least pure and contain the most water. Wawa also has food. Here in New Jersey we don’t pump our own gas which i wish we had the choice to as I hate people touching my cars. So the gas station food mart thing never really took off however wawa is insane for the amount of coffee they sell more popular then Dunkin or starvucks. People love there hoagies (I think they suck) however they really do have good hotdogs. In our area we got a few royal farms but with covid that kind of delayed there expansion at least for now.

That's what I was thinking about with Wawa. The one in my town they're building right where I turn off to go to work so I bet that's going to cause a lot of traffic in the mornings. Plus they're going to make the road there four lane so it's going to be a mess I'm sure.
I remember about 10 years ago there was a Shell station in the town south of me that had water in the gas like that Wawa. Cars were breaking down as soon as they got off down the road. Something seemed shady because after it happened they covered up the Shell sign. I used to joke that they must have been topping off the gas tanks with the water hose. I heard the convenience store part had so many code violations it was always getting closed down too.
Also I used to really like BP stations, most of them here were clean and well kept. But after the Gulf spill all the ones here changed to Marathon. There are a ton of them here and I find them to be rather overpriced compared to others, so I only use them in a pinch. Weird thing though is that old Shell station with the water gas a year or two ago actually changed to a BP station which is the only one I've seen since the gulf spill fiasco. I think it was a Chevron for a while between which also I don't see anymore.
Another odd thing is there is a station a few miles from my house that is a Spur station, and it's been that name since I was a kid. It's the only one I've ever seen here. It's way off the main road but there are a lot of houses out there so it seems to do a good business. I've never bought gas there though.
The Racetrak station in my town used to have a lot of problems with people's credit and debit cards getting compromised. I got gotten there once and it got so bad they had to issue their own cards to use there and I stopped buying any gas there. But I haven't heard of any problems recently.
Don't know if you have Love's in your area, but I've seen a few here outside my county. They are absolutely huge and appear to be a sort of truck stop. They have a Subway and some pizza place inside too. Haven't been to one though.

I prefer enoc and eppco over emarat and adnoc, they in many cases have more facilities and better food in the minimart

We used to have a lot of diversity Exxon, Mobil, Texaco, citgo, Hess but they started folding up as wawa came in now we mainly have wawa like literally 75% of gas stations are a wawa in south Jersey. Turkey hills are big in Pennsylvania. We still have a few Gulfs. It’s weird probably around 2004 we had a ton of BPs and they were updating with there new logo then like by 2007 we have none. You mentioned shell I haven’t seen one of them in probably ten years now.

Around here, either Royal Farms or WaWa (in the Mid-Atlantic). Pricing is not too important to me, but convenience is.

Last week a lot of stations were out of gas as people were panic buying even though it didn't affect our area directly. I was getting a little nervous as I was getting down to a quarter of a tank but I held out until Saturday. I went to the Race Trak station and they had gas but there were signs on some pumps that they only had 93 or diesel. No issues at my pump though but a lady asked me if I was able to get gas as she had tried multiple pumps with no gas. They have like 20 pumps but it looks like they were starting to run out even then.
I think things are back to normal now. It reminded me of the hurricanes when everyone rushes out and buys gas before everything shuts down.

The one day I’m off, I met my wife somewhere and we both decided to fill up right at the beginning of it. Now we’re in NJ where it’s illegal to pump your own gas. The gas station was hectic people getting out fillingthere cars instead of waiting for the attendant to come, I came and went my wife almost got hit by four cars pulling in as I watched these morons. It looking and freaking out not looking just circling the pumps like vultures. I said it’s sad as a society when I saw warnings that the government put out not to fill plastic bags with gas. I thought are people that stupid? and then I saw pictures of people filling plastic totes with gas.

Friday after work I tried to get gas. Murphy Express near Walmart was completely out and then I went to another station and they only had Premium. I was starting to worry since somebody else at work said they had trouble finding gas, so I was afraid everyone was out. Fortunately toward my end of town all the stations seemed to be stocked as usual. I was worried since I was getting really low, usually I don't let it get that low but I foolishly kept putting it off. Talk about not having any oil for your lamp!
Last year they built a new Wawa right near where I work so I have sometimes been stopping in there on the way home since it's right at the corner and easy to get in and out. But now they've been doing road construction and late last week they completely closed that street and you can't even get to the station now from work without getting on the highway and making two U turns since all the crossovers are closed!

My dad and I both drive Jeeps, which take regular (87 octane) fuel. My mom and sister, on the other hand, drive BMW's, which take premium (91/93 octane) fuel. I'm looking to get a slightly more fuel-efficient Jeep in the future though.

I filled up last night, it was almost $70 to fill up my car. I have never had such a high bill at the pump. At least we filled the can up a few weeks ago for the mower and the golf cart so it wasn't quite as high then.
