Does anyone know what motor was used in a 1989 Beveryly Hills Ron Rezek Stratos fan? Emerson K55? Starting to notice a bearing noise on the medium speed. Thought I would ask here before pulling it down and taking it apart. An Emerson K55 would be an easy fix.
Thanks in advance for any knowledge with regards to this.
Take care!

The motor in the Stratos is a 153x18mm spinner motor. Same for the Ball and Ball Flush, made by Halsey.

Yes, most Modern Fan Co./Beverly Hills Fan Co. fans have heavy-duty spinner motors, although most of their lineup (if not all of their lineup) as of late has converted to DC motors. The Industry was their only product to feature a "stack" (or K-55 style) motor, which was an imported unit from GE (a confusingly different company than General Electric). I have a Stratos, one of the last ones marketed by Beverly Hills Fan Co. in 1997 before they rebranded as Modern Fan Co.... they're neat fans.

Thanks for the info Vince! Our Stratos is in the kitchen now and we just love it. Has anyone replaced the bearings in these motors? I have a local fan refurbisher that has been replacing the bearings in my Casablanca fans. Maybe I'll run it by him.
Thanks again and take care!

Also, the Cirrus, Pensi, and Velo all used the same GE stack motor as the Industry when they first came out; I'd love to find a Pensi or Velo from 2018 and before, when they were still K55-type.
