Your fan is an Emerson Legend. Emerson always recommends you contact Carroll Parts, who should be able to guide you in the right direction as to which pull chain assembly you need. Their website is carrollparts.com .
If anyone is interested, I tracked down a SP3T (single pull, 3 throw) fan switch that looks like it will work. It is an NSI switch, model 75111CQ, and I was able to purchase it on Amazon. I haven't installed it yet.
This switch, like the replacement 2-speed switch and the original, connects the line-in (the hot wire, black in a 110 volt household wire) to the other terminals sequentially and separately. The line-in terminal in the original switch is marked "C", and the other terminals are 1, 2, 3, and 4. The switch positions in the original are: Off, C-1, C-2, C-3. Terminal 4 is not used.
The 2-speed replacement switch from Carrol Parts has its line-in marked as "L", and the other terminals are "C", "B", and "A". The switch positions are: Off, L-C, and L-B. Terminal A is not used.
The 3-speed replacement NSI switch has its line-in terminal marked as "L", and its other terminals are 1, 2, and 3. The switch positions are: Off, L-1, L-2, and L-3. I confirmed the switch positions with an ohmmeter as the wiring diagram is incorrect and has the line-in connected to terminal 2.
