youtu.be/HfUsH4Zap2cHello my fellow collectors! I just got my mother's day gift hung on the ceiling. It's a 1988 bright brass Hunter Original in excellent condition. Many hours of polishing and waxing, it's my second ever Original and I feel absolutely blessed to give possession of this beautiful masterpiece to both my mom and dad. I have not yet had any other Originals other than the 1.1 amp motors but I can not doubt these 1.1 amp motors... they kick! After 31 years in one spot and in excellent condition, I was lucky to snatch it. Enjoy the video!

Very nice! I would love to find one exactly like this. The late 1980s and early 1990's is my favorite period for Hunter Originals. What did you polished it with? The finish was that dull when you got it?

Only the top was very very dull, you could rub very hard and it wouldn't clear up, everything else cleared up to a mirror finish. I used Meguiars show car wax with and micro fiber towel and that fan turned out nice

Cool! I might try that on some of my polished brass fans.

I'll have to give that product a try sometime. I've always been afraid to polish brass fans since most of them are plated and the polish would likely just remove the finish.

This polish should work extremely well, I've heard from Brian Hicks the deep voice fan man himself hahahahaa youtu.be/2-DjGiIeNM0
