Hi I have a Carroway Ceiling Fan Model EF200 and I am looking for a light kit to install for it. As far as I can tell its design doesn't fit most Ceiling Fan Kits. Has anyone done this and if so could you send me a link to the kit?
Thanks for your help.

Hi I have a Carroway Ceiling Fan Model EF200 and I am looking for a light kit to install for it. As far as I can tell its design doesn't fit most Ceiling Fan Kits. Has anyone done this and if so could you send me a link to the kit? Thanks for your help. Hello! I believe your fan looks like this, right? (Image credit to Adam D. of VCF) Anyway if so, your fan should be light kit compatiable. Please make sure to turn off the breaker before doing this:On the bottom of the fan, you will see three Flathead (or philips head) screws. Two off to the side and one in the middle. What you want to do is take of the switch cap to access the wires to the light kit. This can be done by unscrewing the two flat head screws that are off to the left and the right of the center screw, Once you do this, the cap will come off, exposing all of the wiring inside of the switch housing. Once you have the center cap separated, take out the middle screw/nut. This will allow you to thread in a ceiling fan light kit that has a center thread like this. You can purchase all different styles that use this method of connection. Just make sure that the light kit that you're buying is "universal" which means it will fit all fans. What you will do next is thread the wires through the center of the switch cap and then screw the cap into the center thread. Next, you will most likely see two wires, one blue and one white that are capped off and lead to nowhere these wires will connect to your universal light kit. Keep note I would highly suggest just following the instructions on how to wire your light kit in the manual that came with your fixture. Once you're done, screw the switch cap and light kit back into the fan! If you have any other questions, comments or concerns feel free to ask. Upload pictures if possible, I can evaluate things much more easily if you do so. Good luck!
