I noticed I haven't posted any of my 2019 acquisitions. Here's a NIB USHA Allure Plus 120 cm in this beautiful glossy mahogany colour I got last June. USHA calls this color rich brown. I have been wanting a decorative four metal blade spinner for a while but they are relatively difficult to find. Many of them have been discontinued recently. This is the second generation of the four blade Allure Plus. It seems they changed it very recently. Probably 2017 or 2018. The older generation had different blade badges and bell canopies. This one have more contemporary canopies. They are made of plastic like on most of contemporary Indian fans. I love the oval shape of the motor when seen from the side which reminds me of a slimmer version of the older USHA motors. The large brass bande around the motor is a very cool feature too. I wish the blades were wider but the air mouvement is still very good and of course like most of Indian fans it runs on RPMS and have an insane highest speed close to 360 RPMS! Overall a very cool fan especially for today's standards. I wish the construction would have used less plastic though. RPM estimation: 75/120/195/360

That does look pretty nice for something made recently. The high speed is insane! Do they make any 120v versions?

I don't leave it on that crazy speed for long. No, I don't think USHA makes any 120V fans but most of their fans nowadays, including many other Indian fans have the mention ''Performs well even at low voltage'' with a motor design to withstand voltages fluctuations and continue to work well on lower voltages without loosing too much RPMS. This is not false advertisement as you can see on the video. Older fans are not made like this though.
