Hi, I'm looking for the mfg'er of this fan. It was bought from JC Penney's in the 90s, but JCP cannot find the corresponding SKU (probably too old). Can anyone help? One of the blade brackets broke and I'm looking to find the replacement from the mfg'er or from anyone else. Thanks. drjw

Thanks. drjw Your fan was manufactured by a company called Alaska, otherwise known as Sheng Yuan Electric; model AC-7152, so that is a five-blade version of the "Snugger" fan they manufactured for Emerson. They manufactured quite a few fans with those pretzel brackets through the '80s and I believe the early '90s, but a replacement bracket for your fan will be hard to find since the blade arm is elongated (like most hugger fans) compared to the other fans Alaska/Sheng Yuan made. Your best bet would probably be to find a set of white generic blade arms for hugger fans and see if the hole spacing on your fan blades is the same as the new brackets, or ask some of the members of this thread if they have any spare Alaska parts that can fit this fan (that elongated blade bracket was almost never seen on Alaska made fans).
