Help identifying ceiling fan type.

Anybody know what kind of ceiling fan this is? We are currently renting a house that has multiple fans like this and they are variable speed, extremely fast and are excellent at cooling. I am wondering what the manufacture is and if there is a modern day equivalent that provides variable speed and extremely fast blade movement.

Definitely SMC KB-52, could be Laguna.

And I can't think of modern fans with variable speed on switch housing.
