Ceiling Fans At Walmart In The Paint & Hardware Section

At first, I thought that there was no Fan shelf, when I look at the "Paint & Hardware" section and went there. There was Fans there.

Chapter, Honeywell, and Mainstays (notice the Home Elegance Fontana).



One of the Honeywell Lenox is opened when they first got it. Someone must've returned it.


Glass shades, pullchains, remote and screws.

Portable Fans but whatever.

I remember seeing those brands of ceiling fans at Walmart before the remodel late last year. But since the remodel, I've only been seeing those white Mainstay huggers as far as ceiling fans. Plus they don't have much of a selection or portable fans or heaters here at the moment. Usually my Walmart has a display in the summer with the portable fans running but not last year.

I can remember back in 1995-96 going to Walmart before they had made it a Supercenter and seeing those plastic Lasko Contemporary ceiling fans on display and in boxes. That was my favorite fan in the display.

Hate on me all you want... I brought a white Mainstays hugger to a white elephant party over the holidays.

Obviously people buy fans from Walmart I just don't know anyone who ever has.


Its amazing how many "house" brands they've gone thorough the years. They might be able to take a chunk in the market if they'd keep a label and stick to it. Mainstays might work cause they make so many other things but they'll change it again I'm sure.
