Cool that they have industrials in the store. The Home Depot here doesn't have any ceiling fans. Although they used to have a white Quick Connect installed on a very long downrod over the kitchen showroom area. It was removed a long time ago though.

Interesting, Quick Connect installed in a Home Depot.

The two stores I go to:
Forest Park only seems to use their fans to push heat off of the ceiling in the winter. Originally had all those classic 56" Daytons. At least three have been replaced with various models of newer Daytons. Some of the remaining older Daytons are dead. I noticed one back area of the store has some older curved blade Daytons.
Colerain has a bunch of classic 56" Daytons COVERED in dust. They use their fans all year round, and have some turned on most of the time. In recent years, they only seem to turn on the fans in the back half of the store. Three of those older Daytons in the loading area in the back of the store literally look brand new, and appear to have had little or no use. One Dayton near the entrance was replaced with a Hampton Bay(or maybe the same fan branded as Dayton), which I have never seen running. While I've seen the blades change positions, I'm not sure if it's ever been turned on. At one point, they added a newer Dayton with a red stripe towards a back corner, which runs in reverse. When I was most recently at this store, the older Dayton over the kitchen area was replaced with a switch housing/pull chain model, and was running forwards. While I know at least some of the older fans in this store are dead, I'm not quite sure about the front half of the store, as I never see any of those turned on anymore. I would think it's highly unlikely that all fans in front are dead, and fans in the back are able to last a lot longer...
