Hey everyone long time no see. Anyways this has always been kind of a question I've had for quite a while - do you ever think that a certain brand, i.e., Emerson, might have installed their fans in a certain town more often than other brands? (Not to say that they would have a complete monopoly in that town, but they would kind of be known as the 'town fan company')

hmm
ill be the odd one here but it will be worth of info if anyone wishes to come to UAE or a few other countries i visited
in UAE:
UAE and the middle east has long been importing ceiling fans but in the more recent days ceiling fans are much harder to spot in public places, mostly industrials and they were being used in households, among vintage fans, the fans commonly found are union, SMC, CEC, USHA, Orient, KDK and national. in the recent days, SMC and KDK still hang on in being common to find, in addition to hunter, panasonic, various multibranded pakistani and indian ceiling fans and clones of KDK A56XK models
in malaysia and indonesia:
malaysia and indonesia have an exclusive set of KDK and panasonic models old and new only to those regions worth adding to the collection
in thailand:
lots of thai ceiling fan brands are out there, some have really large motors and are direct or indirect replicas of the 60s or 70s ceiling fans and they are really powerful even the current models!

There are certainly a ton of Canarms in my area, however that can probably be said about most any town in Canada More seriously, early Hampton Bays are common due to Home Depot establishing a presence early-on here in British Columbia. Almost anything Kendal Lighting is far from rare and several SMC models offered through Canadian Tire and/or Sears can be regularly seen.

Paris, IDF, have an impressive amount of Vortice of all kinds. Newer and older models.
Strasbourg or Alsace in general have a surplus of Guibb.
Bruxelles tend to have quite a few antiques such as Eoles, and various types of Marellis. It's also a very good place to find all sorts of 1970-1990's british made fans such as Xpelair, Crompton Parkinson, Vent-Axia and older types of Codumés.
Barcelona is of course Faro and S&P heaven.
Prague just like most of Czech cities have a lot of Westinghouse's.
N'Djamena, Chad have or used to have a lot of CMC.
Montréal area is well known for having a lot of short lived Encon models from the late 1990's, early 2000's.
Longueuil, Québec seems to have an explosion of Quatre Saisons.
Toronto, Ontario seems to have a lot of SMC and Hunters.
Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario is filled with Hampton Bays and sometimes some significantly older models we don't see a lot.
Saskatoon, SK is one of the best place to find Alaska's.
In Calgary, AB we can easily find some of Kendals earliest models that are usually difficult to see elsewhere.
Hong Kong have the largest concentration of SMC's in the world.
Hanoi have probably the largest concentration of Eoles and Marellis at the same time.

My state has a very large amount of 90's Hunters. Also North Carolina seems to have a lot of FASCO's since they were made there.
