its been 7 years since i got a relite with a chunkier motor, this time its dated in 1974! i got it back in january 2017 or december 2016 the bottom bearing area was jammed with rust, dirt and concrete rubble from the ceiling and the upper bearing was locked, i managed to clean and free the bearings from any dirt.. unlike all the locked bearings i freed, this one is very quiet, even more quiet than the 1975 version i have earlier! the motor body was a bit cracked in to pieces, managed to fix it back with glue, however the crack marks still show.. the fan has evidence of operating for long times, wobbling and not having its screw tightly fit, resulting in the screw being eaten as well as the motor support being eaten as well the blades were slightly bent, managed to get them back to almost its original angle, they need repainting due to chipped off paint in some areas but i thought to paint it later better canopies are 3d printed, same as the ones i used on the 1975 versions, downrod is for the 1976 version, used it as it was painted already

That worn bolt is insane!! Shame about the cracks, but it still looks so good just with what you've done already.

You've done a good job fixing it so far! With repainted blades it will look great. I see you have one of those plastic ceiling fans in the background in the fifth picture.

thanks alot!
the blades need some more rebalancing before painting as the angles are not fully equal
that plastic ceiling fan is the biggest among all the ones i have, its 42" and it also blows a good amount of air!
