I have 7 Ceiling fans at my old home. it was closed for over 11 years. I do not want to change them because of Nostalgia. My grand father memories are associated with them. I want to restore them just like new. But I do not even know where to start.

Good to hear that you want to restore memories associated with your grand father. In order to restore fans at your home you need to do some research on them. If the fans are too old, research will get extended a bit. Assuming that fans you have are in working condition and you just want to make them new. Let's discuss few problems of ceiling fan - Wobbling fans. reason behind wobbling fans is uneven movement. main issues is with the blades. Also check that the blades aren’t warped or damaged in some way. Fan blade aberrations can cause unequal rotational movement. If you’re able to restore the proper shape to the blade, it will keep you from having to buy a replacement blade. If the fan makes a humming or buzzing sound, it is important to investigate whether any parts have loosened and are rubbing against each other. Solving the problem can be as easy and tightening the relevant screws into place. If a fan doesn’t feel effective, check that the blades are positioned correctly. There is usually a small switch on the body of the fan that switches the direction that the blades will spin. This is routinely changed in conjunction with seasonal weather shifts. You may also want to inspect the parts for looseness, imbalance, or damage. It is also possible that the fan is inadequate for the room and switching to a higher-capacity model may make you feel more comfortable.
