this is the home depot in Clackamas, there was a Dayton marley with terrible bearing noise near the front doors that has been running like that for over a year, it has been removed and the electrical box closed off, so that makes four fans that have been totally removed, and not replaced, but over the check stands, they replaced a dead marley with a new industrial, this has a flat motor, and I think three curved blades, no stripe on the motor, the only issue with it is that it is running in reverse, and there are a few non working marleys in there still,

My local home depot has Envirofans.. They're all filthy and not running.. Not sure if they failed or they just don't use them anymore.. I recall at some point a number of them were making a grinding sound..

My local Home Depot has no ceiling fans installed that I know of, there used to be a single Hampton Bay Quick Connect over the kitchen showroom area back around 2001 or so when it first opened but it was removed later.

One Home Depot near me had several 56" Dayton Marleys to begin with, and they really only seem to use them in the winter to push heat down. Some of them have stopped working, and so far, three of the fans in the front half of the store were replaced with various newer Daytons. For a while, they seemed to only be using the fans in the front half, and only one fan in the back half. Sometime after, as many fans as possible in both halfs. The last few times I went there, only the fans in the back half were turned on.
Another store also has several 56" Dayton Marleys to begin with, and most of them are COVERED in dust. One fan near the entrance was replaced with a Hampton Bay (or maybe the same fan branded Dayton), and I haven't ever seen it running, but the blades do appear to change positions from time to time. Sometime after, a newer Dayton with a red stripe was installed in the back half of the store, running in reverse. It just seems like the last few years, this store has pretty much only been using the fans in the back half of the store, which currently only seem to be the newer Dayton and two of the old Marleys. The other Marleys in that half of the store are most likely dead.

A new update, two more of the daytons appeared to have died, one is over the appliances, and the other one is located in the front, I went in there a few weeks ago and they were running, but when I went back the other day, I saw that they were stopped when the others are running, also the blades on them are black with dust,
