Very nice! You would imagine that curved blades would not look good on Indian fans but on this USHA model it looks awesome and I love how pitched the blades are. It's an awesome way of recycling broken fan part to create a new fan. I would have added a contrasting colored line around the motor like they originally are. Did you used a thai controller because a capacitor controller could not get it to speed on the lowest setting?

Before coming up with choosing this blade set, i was always wondering how would i get a blade set for this fan... then suddenly i remembered i had 7 SMC blades with broken arms and several OX blades as well, i thought ox blades wouldnt fit especially that it has a narrow beginning, SMC blades had a similar blade arm rivet positions as the original USHA blades, it was wider and curved as well.. i remember having issues all the time with how pitched the blades should be, having an issue that if i made a tiny mistake with the angle the whole fan will be unbalanced.. for some reason i made the pitch for each arm at roughly 40 having the idea of high pitch beginning and gradual pitch reduction until the end.. after making the arms and welding it on the broken steel part of the blades, i realized one of them has a higher pitch than the others.. i managed to balance it in a way it doesnt show that it is higher pitch (though towards the end of the video before turning the fan off u will notice it) About the regulator i wasnt in the mood to change it, then i realized i removed the sunwindy and forgot to take the video, i kept it there for the sunwindy, now the pointed tip ox is mounted there operating with sunwindy regulator
