We have discussed them before. The Fanimation fan museum has one.

These are cool, but they still have spinner motors, and therefore would not be as heavy as the GE's they're based on.

I have one, it hung in my living room for a while. They're very well made, move a lot of air, and use a beefy spinner motor. They're very very similar to the oldest 3 speed SMC A52s.

I want one, but not enough to spend $450 on... I'd buy a new Original over one for that price personally because it's cast iron and oil bath, but that's just me.

That's probably the only fan out there that's new I'd be interested in.. One day I'll have to get one.. It actually looks more durable than any Casablanca, hunter currently made out there, or even been made for the last 20 years for that matter..

Its a shame that's so expensive.. It seems like a reasonably well built fan..

I remember those. If they have a big heavy spinner motor I guess they are pretty powerful. The one with the light kit reminds me of a Hotel Original. The price is really high but they do seem like good quality fans.

They have 188×15mm motors, so the motor is reasonably sized. But I would expect the fan to be heavy given how well-constructed they are. What is interesting and also something Dan confirmed is that they do move quite a bit more air than what the CFM rating states. What I did notice, however, is that not only did all of the Herons that Dan, among others, encountered seem to spin quite a bit faster than the listed 170 RPM on high, but the Heron that Dan tested drew about 0.1 of an amp more current than what is listed, if I remember correctly.

Could be variations in line voltage. Fans are usually rated at 118-120vAC and in my area line voltage is usually around 123vAC.

Could be variations in line voltage. Fans are usually rated at 118-120vAC and in my area line voltage is usually around 123vAC. Ah, that could affect things some. However, when you had the Heron hanging in your old condo, it still seemed faster than 170 RPM on high to me, just judging from the video, as did the unit in the Fanimation Museum. I think that a possible explanation could be the unit that was tested by Rejuvenation simply was one of the lower-drawing units that came off the assembly line, and/or this fan model could possibly have a wider variance in current draw than some others. Could be variations in capacitors, strength of the motor poles' magnetic fields, or maybe the plywood blades cause the fan to spin a little slower. But these are all possible explanations, so I can't say for sure.
