Hello folks! I hail from near Toronto, Ontario, Canada and I just wanted to "drop off" a brochure I scanned. My wife and I are moving house on May 1st, and being married for almost 41 yeasts, we’ve been packing stuff in boxes for what seems like an eternity. Ironically, a box I found under the stairs and UNPACKED produced not only the fan, but the brochure as well! Both of us had forgotten what was in this (very heavy) box that was plain thick cardboard and had seen a couple of moves in the past. Aha! A ceiling fan we had purchased in 1980 and used for a couple of years and it got packed up for a move and never saw light until last week! I "Googled" it and I found precisely zip, zilch, & zero on the model (DF-526). So I thought I’d scan both sides of the promo material that came with the unit and leave it here for posterity’s sake. I hope some enthusiasts find this of use/interest! Cheers, Steve P.S. - we found the receipt too - in 1980 Canadian dollars, we paid $499.95 with the optional light kit and glass. The list price in 1980 Canadian dollars was $769.95. Attachments:

If you decide to sell the fan let me know! dspiffy@gmail.com Interestingly, the same fan sold at Menards in the US for less than $200 around the same time. LOVE the brochure! Thanks!

Hello and welcome to the site.
Thanks for posting. Now we know the name of this model. This model turn up on Kijiji from time to time with all sorts of different blade shapes and finishes.
500$ seems very overpriced even with a light and shades especially for 1980. I would have expected such a fan to be no less than 350 with light.
I hope you keep your fan and install it in your new home.
