just visited the quorum site... what crap ! so much fancy crap all just to hide a sorry spinner motor.....if you have to buy a fan made after the1940's which were the real deals.....then please save your money and invest in a casablanca, emerson ,and maybe hunter original --that is if you can find a model that doesnt now have the spinner crap in it .... all the rest is scrap metal--scrap it!

Oooooohhh I just have to butt in. The Original is more like an Oldsmobile. Purchased by old people and no longer made (in a way) Without going into the old people bit, your analogy works. Look at the connections between Oldsmobile and Cadillac, and Hunter and Casablanca.

I had a friend with a 2000 Caddy, I forget what model but it was some expensive shiny crap. It was a nice car but I didnt see what all the fuss was about. When it eventually needed some repair a few years later, he sold it.

He wasnt one to go easy on the horses . . . or the stereo . . . or the backseat . . . I suppose I feel sorry for whoever owned the car after him, they probably had their work cut out. But while he had it, it was the PimpMobile . . .

They are all the same. All the same junk. Actually, Cadillacs are more reliable than their rivals from Mercedes. When is the last time that you looked at these cars? I thought you were only interested in Chryslers.
