Very nice! Looks like the blades might have been painted though?

That's a pre-Slumber Quiet K63 model, I believe. Somebody needs to jump on this! The top of the motor looks like a K55

The top of the motor looks like a K55 True, I didn't pay attention to the motor hoising's top picture. Even better, this could be one of those queer pre- slumber quiet, pre- ball & socket mounting system, really early K55 models, suggesting that this was most likely manufactured late in 1980, or around when Casablanca started transitioning over to the K55 motor. WRONG.....AGAIN. As it has a badge and not the gold label, it's more than likely early 1981.. and thus, SQ.

Did casa stop using the gold sticker in the latter portion of 1980? Yes, this is definitely made in early-mid '81, as Zephyrs from around this time seem to have abandoned the gold sticker on the switch housing, and they seem to contain K55 motors and the SQ system. Still, pretty interesting nonetheless

The transition from sticker to badge apparently occurred in very late 1980, and I believe that's also when Slumber-Quiet came to be (although to be fair, I don't think we've actually encountered any badged Casablancas from 1980). It would have to be early 1981, as this was the introductory year for the Hang-Tru canopy; they were burning off remaining parts at this point.

Most of the '81 casas do have the Hang-Tru canopy, and the absolute latest Casablanca I have encountered with the previous canopy design was made in June of '81, which suggests it was probably one of the last ones made with the previous mounting system.
