Nice design. I especially enjoyed the "Cheap Fan?" section and the cool pics. Where did you find the fan on your site?

I found the fan in Indianapolis. A cool older gentleman had seen my web page and was looking for information on whether to repair or replace his fan. I gave him repair information, but of course offered to buy the fan. The problem with his fan was the flywheel. I still havent found the proper flywheel for it, although the one on there in the pictures is close.

Why did you particularly like the "Cheap Fans?" section? I thought it was good that you addressed both the strengths and weaknesses of the fan. Also, that reminds me, do you know if Casablancas of the same period had a 13 or 14 degree pitch?

I dont know offhand, although it shouldnt be that hard to research. Or figure it out yourself, all it takes is a fan, a ruler, and some high school trig.

My casablancas are both later models. The K-55 has a 14 degree pitch and the XLP has a fifteen degree pitch.
