Never seen one of these with a flywheel adapter on them.. Kinda neat.. Not sure if I will get them.. I no longer collect ceiling fans unless it's one of those things that I really really want..

For $40 each, I'd pass.

That's an isolation ring, a lot of early Hunters with the larger spinner motors (as well as Originals) had them... not a flywheel... it's for noise isolation (hence the name 'isolation ring') so that noise doesn't transfer.

In the video or even remembering configurations is hard, but yes, we all know that Hunter was big on Isolation and had the isolation ring on the originals, but I didn't think the early imported Low Profiles had them.. That in my opinion was a good thing.. They did that with the blade to bracket configuration including the newer 90s Infinity, and the only thing that accomplished is rubber only gets old and corrodes after age, while the screws only tighten enough to where the treads end, that leaves everything being loose... That was never a good thing.. The isolation ring was probably the better configuration Hunter came up with... But lets face it, Hum was never a factor in any ceiling fan, and the blade to bracket with the rubber gourmet now only creates a mounting that's falling apart...

IDK much about the early Low Profiles, but I thought they were American made.
