The other day as I went into the guest room and turned on the brown Original and found somethin odd....The fan MOTOR was spinning and fast at that! I shut it off and took a look at it. Turns out the problem was the way of mounting. It was hung on a LONG eyehook that was cut off to form a J. This was screwed in a 2 x 4. Im guessing that the torque of the motor eventually loosened up the hook. I gotta look if the fan was screwing up or down. If down, im screwed! Upon further inspection, the switch housing was loose. I screwed that back, but messed up the bearings! They dont go freely, but rotate halfway, then seize up Im takin the fan down and lookin at it. My 36" Original in my bedroom has no such problems ;D It is mounted on a fan brace with a U-hook! that supports me, so it wont let a 36 incher pull it out. ANY advice is appreciated.

This usually happens when a hook is screwed in without drilling a pilot hole.
Remove the hook, find a fresh spot on the 2x4, drill a pilot hole, and replace the hook.
Also, it appears your switch housing is binding against the rotor. If you cant figure out how to mount it properly, may I suggest conferring with Mr. Brian Hicks for advice, he would be able to give you detailed instructions, that's if you can understand his country accent.

I would think any parent would be supportive.

we can't get the bleeeping rotor out of the thing!!!! I'll try and call and put my two cents in, but from the description you left on my voicemail I really have no idea. With the switch housing removed you should be able to clearly see anything impeding the rotor, I would think. Trevor do you have a digital camera? Perhaps it would help Brian and others to see pictures, as opposed to just descriptions.
