I don't know if political threads are allowed or not. Feel free to take it down. I know we've had some political discussions before that remained civil. Thought I'd just set up a poll since I started another thread about voting.

I'm not voting for any of them.. No matter who wins it's not going to change anything.. Bush Ruined the economy and got us into unnecessary wars, gave tax cuts to big corporations.. Obama came in and did what? Still the middle class is shrinking, and people have to work harder for less pay, that doesn't equal to the inflation to the cost of living.. The heath care system is the worst I've ever seen it, and I know because I had to fight hospitals, case workers, rehab facilities for a person who has limited insurance.. Big corporations benefit while the little people like us slave work.. Both parties are owned by corporations, while both parties throw mud at each other, and both parties do nothing to help out the little people.. I'm sick of it... Trump nor Hilary is getting my vote.. Republicans think everyone should own a gun, while democrats think this country is a free for all for everyone to leach off the system who are illegal..

Adam I do agree with many things in your post, however I will be voting and I'm voting for Trump.

If I was to vote, it'd be trump, just to stop Hillary. If I had my way right now, I'd be in Canada.

Trump can be arrogant which bothers me,, but of the two I do believe he would be far better for the country,, so he has my vote.. There are a lot of dumb things going on around here which I think he would put a stop to..
Adam I do agree with many things in your post, however I will be voting and I'm voting for Trump. He makes a number of valid points,, but I don't see the point in not voting.. You're going to be stuck with one or the other,, you might as well have input..

I do agree he is arrogant but at the same time I think that he would probably want his legacy as the President to be well. I don't know if he'll run again if he wins. I think regardless with Hillary OR Trump they will be a one term President. 2020 will be interesting since Trump and Bernie have both shaken up the establishment. I do agree everyone should vote, but I unfortunately know too many discouraged voters who are either way too unhappy with both of the main party candidates or they are tired of the electoral college making there states vote "a waste". To anyone who reads this I do encourage you to vote and realize even if you're going to vote for a third party or something that you may feel is a "waste", be a part of democracy and make your voice be heard by casting your vote.

I don't necessarily see them as being single-term candidates,, but I suppose its possible.. I'm not sure Bernie would have a chance,, his ideas simply won't work in a country this size and I think a lot of people know that..
Where I live,, my vote usually ends up being 'useless',, which is extremely frustrating,, but at least I tried.. I've got a better chance at having a say if I try than if I don't..

Exactly, being part of the process is what counts even if you live in a Blue state.
I agree Bernie doesn't have a chance at all now. If it was Trump vs. Bernie, he'd have a chance just from people looking at him as an outsider but a politician at the same time. His policies are insane IMO.
Debates tomorrow! Should be exciting!

I think it would be reasonable to say Bernie is a socialist.. If he was the nominated Democrat candidate,, he would have a chance just because Democrats seem to get out and vote more than other parties..

This is true. He does admit he is a Socialist. So we can't argue it haha.
