So in the past week, I have been volunteering at the local ReStore that was generally expensive with their fans.
Since I have most of the skill of being able to test out the fans and assembling them, I basically run all of the fan section.
They even gave me a small workbench to test and work my fans on! Since the ReStore had fans all over the floor and such, I cleaned up and hung up all the fans in the fan section!
Not many cool things, but here are some notable fans I personally liked.
I loved these hunters
This has been sitting here for more than a year, it has cool stencil on the other side. Know what fan it is?
There are a lot of newer stuff and builder fans that come in through the store, but there are a few very good fans that come in.
Since I mostly work at the fan display and in the warehouse in the back, I am able to take fans the workers deem are scrap, which are usually vintage fans/incomplete fans. Because of this, I am able to take a few fans home for free!
So here is what I have gotten in the last 3 days!
Take note that most of these fans are missing their mounting brackets.
First are these two spinners, One is a Brown/Brass SMC Laguna. Blades are in superb condition, other than the paint splatters on the top.
Missing the Two-piece Beehive canopy.
Here is a very nice Antique Brass spinner. I do not know what brand it is.
Here is the tag
Next up is an Emerson Designer in White, 36".
One thing I noticed was that it was unusually light weighing at around 7 pounds!
I have a Brown one that has the same plastic and it was 9.5 pounds. I assume that this Emerson is a slightly newer version of the designer?
Here are pictures of the motor and some comparison pictures.

The Capacitor for the motor is located inside of the motor housing.
They also have different flywheels, and the White Designer has a less fluted switch housing.
And lastly, I have gotten this Chocolate Brown/ Antique Brass Casablanca Zephyr oddly missing the Downrod sleeve and the canopy...
Interesting thing is, this fan is using a K55 motor, but has the old K63 Casablanca housing. No slumber quiet, but it is variable speed.
I assume it is a fan that was built when Casablanca was switching from the K63 motors to K55 motors.
Here are pictures of the tags on the fan, no date.
One on the top
The knob was lacking a little pointer
Internals: It uses a Sprague Alumaclad capacitor.
Welp, that is all I have for now! I hope you enjoy!
