Do you think this is better than a Hunter branded one?

Do you think this is better than a Hunter branded one? as to the 36" ones they preformed the same, but I've seen video of the larger ones and they do go faster and seem to move a ton of air

Ouch, it only went for $42.. As much as many like originals, I would have at least thought it would go over $100, and It being a more rare 42" and brass..

Market is flooded right now so they aren't selling for quite as high as they were. People see three or four sell for big bucks early on and all of a sudden everyone with an Original or two in their back closet brings them out of the woodwork at one time to try and cash in. I have a white Reverse-Aire with a new paint job up right now that still has zero bids on it because the market is so watered down (of course Adrian having five on the table in -VERY- nice condition this week isn't helping, but we have been in direct competition for most of the summer and he will likely get some major $$$$$ this week).
It could also be a case of only collectors knowing what these things are worth... the average Joe eBay might think that the Classic is a cheap knockoff. My big buyer from last year now only buys junky ones from me for his shop, and he still won't even consider one that doesn't have a genuine Hunter Original tag on the side.

Hmmm, JW has a point there... For some reason it looks like a 42" original in that pic..

Hmmm, JW has a point there... For some reason it looks like a 42" original in that pic.. Probably because the motor housing is bigger. Look at the top, it is designed after the 52" Originals, although in reality the motor housing size looks to be along the lines of a 42" Original. Makes me wonder how much Hunter stock Classic actually used (as the wife I know of someone who used to work there claims), how much they produced in-house, if any of their stuff was prototypes Hunter rejected and just sent the Classic company the molds for, or if they used a completely outside OEM. Wish someone that used to work with them would show up on these forums one day.
