Not sure if this thread was already made, didn't see any results when I searched. Anyway, does anyone know of any factories where fans are/ were produced in the US? I searched maps and found the old Fasco factory in NC. But does anyone know exactly where all the American Originals were produced? Key Largo? Casablanca etc.? I know the cities they were produced in, I am just asking if anyone knows the actual location where all these treasures came out of.

I agree,, this does sound interesting..
I don't really know much about it myself.. The only bit I could put in is that Hunter always had Memphis, Tennessee on the tags.. No clue if that's where they were produced, where their main HQ was or whatever..

I've done a little digging on things like this before, I don't have anything solid that I can post right at this second. I'd have to go back and check over everything again, but I'd done some research with Key Largo and Homestead addresses, though I can't confirm whether any fans were actually assembled or produced at such facilities.
Hunter has of course operated many a facility throughout the greater Memphis area over the years. As you may know, the addresses for their current HQ (along with Casablanca) and the parts warehouse are readily available, but there's of course little of interest to see. I've of course seen pictures of Originals on American assembly lines, I wish I knew the address of that facility.

The Hunter factory was located at 2500 Frisco Ave, Memphis, TN from 1955-2001, though their headquarters remained at that address until 2008. It has now been torn down.
The Casablanca factory was located 450 N. Baldwin Park Blvd, City of Industry, CA from 1981-1997. The building is still there and is now a cheese factory.

Here are the folks who put together our fans! This was taken in front of the Casablanca factory in the early 1990s.

Mm hm, those addresses are very familiar, I was never sure what facilities they were associated with though.
I've always loved those company photos Casablanca used to take.
