There was some interest drawn to this fan when I first mentioned it.. Finally had some time to go around and get media of it.. Please excuse the poor quality of the media, it was captured on a phone..

I love it! todthefanman now has one that I found for him. Even though its newer these hold a liking in my heart.
I got one last week but with the normal blades. Love that too!

I sure do! Thanks again Parkman. I will be doing a video on mine within the next week hopefully. Like you said though, something about it is really cool, I'm not into newer fans really either, but this fan I really do like. It's pretty decent for what it is too. I like the slower low speed it has.

Anytime! It goes pretty fast on high too I felt when I had one back in 2009.

One of the first Hunter fans to venture into this general blade shape that has become so typical. I like these as well, I honestly think they look great with these blades compared to many models using them today that I feel would be better suited to other shapes.
Was this one the Home Depot exclusive, anyone know? It's been a minute since these were last discussed.

These were Home Depot Exclusive. They were the first mainstream attempt to market those mix and match childrens blades as well. Randomly one just popped up onto ebay its in the green Hunter Box which is like the beginning of the end to extreme downgrading of quality. www.ebay.com/itm/331821551502?_trksid=p3984.m570.l5997&_trkparms=gh1g%3DI331821551502.N34.S2I think perhaps the reason we all seem to like this rather than all of the funky blade models that Hunter has recently come out with is perhaps its more visually appealing because its 4 blades and symmetrical?

I really can't put my finger on why I like it. I think it has more to do with the blades to me because I'm more interested in it than I am with the one that has standard blades. That's funny that one just showed up on eBay, apparently other people like it too, 7 bids. I like the one I got from Parkman, it has the good old Hunter logo on it, and I find the box to be designed a lot better.

I never liked those blades when they came out, but I think they have grown on me. The Dairy Queen closest to me has four of these but with the earlier style blades. I agree the low is really slow.

I remember these at Home Depot in 2007-08... there is a restaurant in Ocean City, MD that has 4-5 of these and 4-5 BB 42" Low Profile III's in the bar (they had 4-5 PB 52" Harbor Breeze Chesire I's before them)... all of those fans used to be AB Evergo Emperors and AB SMC Emperor Huggers... outside they had 3 Appliance White Emerson Wet Locations (the ones that looked like Emerson Legend II's and had spinner motors) that were replaced by 2 White Hunter Mariners (they removed one fan outside and capped one ceiling outlet off).

I can't pinpoint why I like it either. Part of it might be the 4 blades, part of it might be the 42" size, but there's something else that I can't put words to.

I mean, it's definitely not as good as a 90s 42" Low Profile, but it still looks nice and is better than the Low Profiles sold today!

That would have been neat to see when it was all Emperors.. ? lol

I think perhaps the reason we all seem to like this rather than all of the funky blade models that Hunter has recently come out with is perhaps its more visually appealing because its 4 blades and symmetrical? I do find it to be visually appealing.. I really like the irons it uses and its reasonably thick andchunky, unlike most 42" huggers.. This size and style seems to generally be found in cheap fans..

I believe it was installed about 3 years ago, more or less..
Anytime! It goes pretty fast on high too I felt when I had one back in 2009. I'd agree,, this one went quite fast on high..

Do wish the medium was a bit more medium,, its quite the drop from high and not much faster than low..
