You just never can have too many of these things lol. Yes, ANOTHER CEC Caribbean Breeze-type thingy (not genuine Moss), once again new sans box. Came in the original bags, but no box to be found, just like the last couple of these I've found. I've run out of things to say about these I've posted so many of them, but I really do love the little things and they're for sure worth picking up when I see them. Hopefully I can do something cool with all of them someday.

Very cool! You found it locally? It's odd how in the US they show up almost always only in 90 cm.

How are the bearings in it? I bought one of these NIB a while back, paid a fair bit for it too, and the bearings were spoiled! I still haven't gotten over that lol
It would definitely be cool if you could do a multiple install of these somewhere

I did find it locally at my ReStore, I assume it probably came from Menards originally. Seems like most of these non-Moss versions came from Menards up in this neck of the woods.
Bearings are excellent in this one, as they are in all of my others. Yours seems like some unfortunate anomaly, Jordan. I have four of these fans that were previously unused (none of them Moss variants) and all have decent bearings.

The box has some signs of water damage, so I suspect that it was stored in a particularly damp location, or maybe even got wet..

Picked up this SMC A52 a couple weekends ago. I don't know where it was installed, but something was badly deteriorating the yellow 'brass' lacquer on the polished brass parts, particularly the blade arms which were almost completely bare of it. Instead of trying to salvage something unsalvageable or leaving it in marginal condition, I decided to remove the brass entirely and went to the chrome/nickel plating beneath. My lighting often shows chrome fans as somewhat brassy, so I took a closeup without flash that shows it better. It turned out really well, other than the blade arms which were already the most rough to begin with. The original canopy was somewhat broken and had a weird glossy finish that I wasn't feeling, so I swapped it for a similarly styled spare that I had. Video here: youtu.be/DWKG_CiMmHQ

Not my preference in color, but the finish especially on the motor housing looks good as new!

Nice fan, Cole! I think these 90s Emerson designs were weird, yet cool!
