He could also have knocked the reversing winding wires loose from the reverse switch. I could also probably walk you through a repair, but if you want to spend the money on the fan I'm here. You could buy a new one but they aren't as good.... and they run REALLY fast on low.

Thanks guys, I've sent Brian a PM on the other forum. I'll let you know how it turns out. So, should I go ahead and call Gulf Coast Fans from the lonk above and see if they might help or not? Thanks for the reply and offer of help Brian. I will let you know when I decide what to do. Looks like I'd be into this one about $200 verses $300 for a new import one. Thanks again for the help!
