true? ya they seem to be in very good shape since they sat in a closet for a long time. gona get some oil, test them and work on taking them apart and cleaning out some of the dust and hairs i can see in it as well as make sure everything is working properly. might do some touch up paint as well as try my hands at making a switch cap for the one missing it.

What would you make the cap out of? I've seen people use tops of cans and such, which works for the purpose of covering up the wires, but it looks a little odd because its not totally flat.

I have a steel band saw that should cut though it like butter. Just gona take measurements off of a switch cap I already have.

last hunter original 3 out of the 3 and second brown fan (rope pull chain) going to most likely keep this fan and the one set of brown blades i have and restore it in a black and silver combo instead of just brown. it runs great just like the others.

zoom spout is a lot cheaper and thought of as better than hunter oil. Just order a case like I did and you are literally set for life. I bought mine of amazon.com. For the price of 4 tubes of hunter oil you could get a case of zoom spout.
