We don't have too many street lights around here. There are a few at various intersections here and there, but I have no idea what kind they are. The only place where there are a lot is on the freeways, and they're very poorly maintained as a lot of them are always out lol

My street lights look like street lights. Come on that's LAME. They don't ALL look the SAME. I know that for a fact. The cities are always replacing bad ones with new ones.

The cities are always replacing bad ones with new ones. Always? Where do you live? lol Well for starters they replaced all the Mercury Vapor lights (most) with High Pressure Sodium lamps and when the ballast breaks they just take the whole thing off lol and Dallas, Texas. Also when someone hits the pole which happens a lot lol

Also when someone hits the pole which happens a lot lol In my town, there is one spot which has a huge flag pole in the middle of a main intersection. People crash into that stupid thing all the time lol. Lights, not so often.

Main roads: Sylvania Roadster Streets/small roads: Sylvania fluorescent (don't remember the model), Older Sylvania Suburban murcury vapour, Sylvania 1990's murcury vapour model. And now they're using some LED one by Sylvania.
There's still some older ones from the 70's-80's still around (branded eg:GEC), but most of the older vintage ones I remember ten years ago are long gone now, like the common long single tube fluorescents from the 1970's that were found everywhere across Aus.

I haven't seen any of the LED ones in person yet. Is the light a warmer color or is it the typical LED blue-white?

I think they're neither, they're just white don't see any blueish or warm yellowish.
